ANASTASIA TSERMENIDOU

Anastasia is a Data Protection and Privacy Junior Associate, focusing on helping clients manage data privacy challenges. She has been engaged in data classification and handling of unstructured data projects and she has participated in drafting new policies and guidelines on privacy and data protection.
Before joining Privintelligent Solutions, she has already worked in the field of Data Protection and Privacy as a Consultant at Deloitte, participating in setting up cookies scripts for websites, remediation of websites, designing strategies concerning the handling of unstructured data, drafting policies around data classification. Anastasia has also worked as a Data Protection and Privacy Freelancer with clients in the UK. She has created action plans for several companies based on accountability frameworks, reviewed Data Protection Agreements (DPAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), helped manage data subject requests (DSRs), mostly DSARs, communicated with Data Protection Authorities (DPAs) in Europe and drafted reports on exemption in rights and obligations of data subjects and on the obligation of DPO’s appointment.
Anastasia is also specialized in the in-depth analysis of Data Protection requirements (from the GDPR). During her time at DPOrganizer in Sweeden, she drafted articles concerning Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs), retention policies, automated decision making, and she communicated with clients on upcoming projects.
Anastasia has a deep understanding when it comes to DPAs, since is a country reporter at NOYB, and she translates Hellenic DPA’s decisions in GDPRHub. She has also participated in workshops with other Privacy and Data Protection specialists, like Max Schrems, and she has exchanged ideas concerning critical privacy issues.
