Evi Kanavou is currently pursuing a Law degree at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is also a graduate of the department of Russian Language, Literature and Slavic Studies from the same institution. She is also a certified Data Protection Officer from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Throughout her academic career, Evi has actively participated in moot court trials and attended a summer school in criminal law at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Romania, further developing her legal research, advocacy, and public speaking skills.
She has experience in legal administration, having worked as a legal secretary and translator-interpretator in a law firm, where she supported the legal team, managed administrative tasks, and assisted with client compliance checks. Additionally, she holds a Translation Expert certification from EL Translations and an IT Knowledge Certification (UCERT).
Evi is also an active volunteer at the Cyber Security International Institute (CSIi), serving as a cybersecurity advisor. In this role, she helps individuals recognize and prevent online fraud while providing support to victims of cybercrime.
At PrivIntelligent, Evi serves as a paralegal and data analyst, supporting the team in data privacy projects globally. Her responsibilities include managing records of processing activities, conducting data mapping interviews, developing privacy training materials, and maintaining databases. She also participates in research projects for a diverse range of international clients.
She is fluent in English, Russian, and French.
