Markella is a Greek-qualified Attorney-at-Law and a member of the Athens Bar Association, specializing in Privacy and Data Protection Law. She advises Greek and multinational clients across various industries, with expertise in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and technology sectors.

Her experience encompasses a broad range of GDPR compliance matters, including privacy audits, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), data subject rights, data breach management, and the drafting of privacy notices, data processing agreements and internal policies.

Markella holds an MSc in Law and Information and Communication Technologies from the University of Piraeus and an LL.B. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
